Keegan debacle rumbles on
With our supporters having nibbled earlier at the administration rumours early in the week caused by any potential Keegan payout, the man himself seems less than impressed at the smear stories being leaked from NE1. Talk of the £25m payout claim has been debunked by KK who is claiming £8m. A Keegan insider said:
"That is just malicious nonsense. This figure has obviously been leaked to try to place Kevin in a bad light."
Precisely what most head screwed on NUFC supporters are aware of. Incidentally the claim has made it more likely that Ashley will remain in charge, with Barclays also hanging fire on the result of the arbitration before making a decision on the overdraft.
Finally the Sunday Sun makes mention of a liquidity crisis at NUFC, with any settlement due to be paid within 7 days of success.
