Solano's Tip For The Top

Nobby Solano sang the praises of young debutant Matty Pattison after he shone against West Bromwich Albion.

The 19-year-old celebrated his first start and got a standing ovation from the Toon Army when replaced by Lee Clark after heavily contributing throughout United's victory.

Solano: 'Matty was fantastic against West Brom and everybody is very pleased for him. He is an unbelievable young talent and he played very well for his first start. He deserved his chance because he has been working his way up through the reserves.

'I know he has what it takes because I have seen him in training and he's been working very hard with the first team. Glenn has gave him a chance and he's done fantastic. Hopefully he will continue to get the chances in the first team as he is an exciting talent.'

Youth coming through and plenty of cash coming through the turnstiles. All you nned now is a manager who has the qualifications.
