'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Healy loan mooted

It seems our much vaunted search for a striker has led us to the doors of Wearyside, as we today were linked with a move for David Healy. The Norn Iron striker has had mixed success at club level, failing to impress at Leeds, Fulham and now the mackems since leaving Preston.

Healy has been limited to Carling Cup ties and fleeting subs appearances of late, with the Dog Walker`s Ipswich and also Watford linked too. More recently he has spent more time winding up Celtic fans, with his famous 'the famine is over` quote after scoring for NI against San Marino causing him to receive death threats.

Thanks but no thanks. Would rather have King than go cap in hand to the mackems.
