With Xisco and Zamblera the latest in the striking department to leave, it looks like efforts to reunite us with Peter Lovenkrands might have fallen on hard times. The player looks set to be reunited with Alex McCleish at Birmingham City as our pulling power against Premier League teams fails.

The current set up leaves us with just Nile Ranger as our one fit striker.
