'If It's Football, It's Vital'

NUFC Sunday Rumour Round-Up

First up on the incomings front is a potential move for Nottingham Forest`s Robert Earnshaw. A staple of the Championship, scoring goals for Cardiff, Norwich, Forest and Derby, he seems a fairly suitable match for either Shola or Andy Carroll, in the big man-little man combo that seemed to serve Pompey and the Mackems so well in recent times. A fee of £3m is mentioned.

Next in is Icelander Solvi Ottesen who is currently with Danish side Sonderjyske. Also linked to the defender are Brum and Celtic, with his agent declaring:

"I know Newcastle are a big club and I would actually prefer it if Solvi joined a team in the Championship. He is the type of centre-back suited for the English game, but it would be good for him to get some experience of English football before playing in the Premier League."

On the exits front, the usual suspects of Steven Taylor, Jonas and Coloccini are again touted for the exit door in the latest round of Ashley asset stripping.
