Duff goes Cottaging

As was widely expected, Damien Duff completed his 4m move to Fulham this lunchtime, taking a 30% wage cut in the process. Duff's exit is believed to have sent the wage bill to below 50m a year, giving Barclays renewed confidence that we will continue to remain solvent despite the Championship revenue hit.

I suspect you barcodes had no choice in the matter, what with the financial problems. And to be quite honest I don't think you ever really got the best from Duff. Canny Hodgson must know something because I didn't think the lad was up to the physical demands of the game in the Premiership after last season.

Probably do ok in a settled side like Fulham.

he is a decent player and could be another danny murphy for fulham he just needs to stay fit...
ibrahiy
crap winger, no pace left. Not a premiership player.
geordie_mark
He's an enigma and Hodgson will be backed to get the best out of him. Not that he's got much left after the cruciate injury he got v Pompey.
