'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bassong his way

As has been widely reported (and seriously drawn out...) Seb Bassong looks set to sign for Spurs in an 8m plus move. The Frenchman follows the likes of Les Ferdinand, David Ginola, Ruel Fox and Easington's finest, Kevin Scott, in heading to White Hart Lane. Our view? A tidy fee helps offset a fraction of the relegation losses but in footballing terms the lad had big potential and its sad to see him leave.

Still far more than I think he's worth. Good money in the bank, pity we're not using it to strengthen :-<
