Bassong his way
As has been widely reported (and seriously drawn out...) Seb Bassong looks set to sign for Spurs in an £8m plus move. The Frenchman follows the likes of Les Ferdinand, David Ginola, Ruel Fox and Easington's finest, Kevin Scott, in heading to White Hart Lane. Our view? A tidy fee helps offset a fraction of the relegation losses but in footballing terms the lad had big potential and its sad to see him leave.
