'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lapdog admits: No incomings planned

With just Shola Ameobi and Andy Carroll left in the squad up front who have actually played a first team game, strikers are seemingly thin on the ground. Only Nile Ranger seems ready to come through the youth team but the front positions seem devoid of pace. Rectifying this doesn't seem to be planned any time soon with Coach Chris admitting:

'There is no hint of bringing players in. Up until now we have been quite fortunate with injuries and have been able to maintain a decent squad.

At this moment there have been no discussions with myself and Derek about bringing in any players. If that changes I will be told, but it is not happening at the moment."

Chris, grow some balls and TELL Dumass Derek that you need the players. Don;t wait for him to come to you.
sfosteruk
not as simple as that. If Chris tells Ashley/Dereck he wants players they'll quite happily show him the door and leave the tea lady to manage the team. They don't care anymore (i wonder if they ever did).
geordie_mark
mark, it does no harm to ask. They will only say no. If he just says that we need a striker, we can see what happens
sfosteruk
I agree sfosteruk, he needs to approach them and ask..if not tell them! at the end of the day isnt he the manager at the moment and if not then why is he saing who plays???

LLabia and AShley are so clueless. Shola, Ranger and Carroll as your strike force - FFS?

I'm a Spurs fan and I come in peace, I just want to say how disgraceful Mike Ashley really is. It's a sad time for football. Admittidly I did want Newcastle to go down for the entertainment factor and the headlines, but its a sorry state when you don't bounce back up. What I never wanted was a familiar Premiership face capitulating at the hands of some know it all w**ker. He's driving this club to the ruins, and he doesn't care. He might as well spit on Sir Bobby's grave the fat b**tard

Much more carry on and we'll be playing you poolie!
