Duff Trotting off to Reebok?
The latest in a long line of rumours for top flight returns for our players is Damien Duff. This time it's Gary Megson's Bolton Wanderers linked with a move for the left winger who has only appeared in fits and starts for us.
Following his £16m move from Blackburn to Chelsea, Duff lasted just a couple of years before we paid what seemed a bargain £5m for the player. However this proved a false dawn as the player delivered little before being crocked at Portsmouth took what little pace he had left out of him.
Indeed it was Duff's heel that led to our relegation with his unlucky deflection against Villa. No fee is mentioned but given he is on £60k a week it is likely to be minimal.
