'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Second hoax' stings tabloids

Following the earlier wind up by the former Mackem PR man claiming to be a textiles magnate, it seems the fraudsters are at it again. This time a three day old message board post about a Hong Kong takeover, with Shearer and Vialli in tandem, has managed to make the Mirror. Seems like taking the easy option of posting 'copy & paste' jobs whilst sipping mojitos on a sun lounger counts as Fleet Street quality these days.

I heard these news again last night, thought it may have been true this time, but once again we are let down, beckford would be a huge bonus for us.

Hopefully his agent will keep stalling for another week or two to keep that option open. As for the hoax - the legal department number at the bottom is based in Dubai!
