Martins to Lyon?

In the wake of Karim Benzema's monster move to Real Madrid, it seems our Nigerian forward Oba Martins could be the man in the frame to replace the new Galactico. Rumours suggest a bid has been received by the perennial Champions League participants to take the inconsistent hitman over the Channel to Ligue 1.

A move would certainly prove good for both parties, with us tidying up the 65k off the wage bill and receiving money to pay off his loyalty bonus. Lyon would also get a player bound to do well against the lower level of the French League.
