Time ticks on the final 120 minutes of Michael Owen's Newcastle career, as the greatest NUFC waste of money joins Mark Viduka and Cacapa on the rock and roll. Naturally we'll have to stump up the weasels' equivalents of Job Seekers Allowance, funding the pair to the tune of a month's wages as they haven't actually found a club.

If anything sums up the mismanagement of NUFC then surely these ridiculous clauses in their contracts are it. They are the proverbial figures on the icing on the cake. Good riddance to all concerned as we remove a tasty looking £11m off the wage bill, losing the equivalent of about 30 games between them.

GAWN but with a months salary, guess what they will all have jobs by the end of the week but can now put their feet up for another 4 weeks courtesy of Newcastle. That is the epitimpy of this whole saga.
