Brum to seal Edgar deal?

Reports in this evening seem to suggest that David Edgar is set to make an immediate return to the Premier League with Birmingham. Quite who of us would have had the defender as the first of our players to get a top flight return is open to question, with the likes of the mega money crew still in limbo.

It is a bit of a pity as there are a number of us who think Eddie could have done a reasonable job in a promotion chasing team. However Alex McLeish seems to have made his move and cashed in on the chaos at SJP. Whether we get some sort of development fee for Eddie remains to be seen.

Edgar is not a bad player. he is the type we should keep as would be well suited to the Championship and he aint demanding 50k a week
