Obafemi Martins has come out today and said that he want`s to remain a Newcastle player and play in the Fizzy Pop League. Martins has said that he hopes that he is not sold and he is loving living and playing in Newcastle. However he admits that he has no choice in the matter as he is a high earner.
If he wants to stay I am sure if he renegotiates his contract on a lower wage the club would keep him. Oba has also said that he has spoken to people from Juventus about their demotion to Serie B. He said that they kept their best players such as Buffon, Del Piero and Nedved and got back at the first attempt and wants to emulate that with Newcastle.
What ever happens at least Obafemi Martins looks like he is up for the fight next season.
