United-reject Frazier Campbell fancies Toon

Manchester United striker Frazier Campbell is said to be closely monitoring the happenings at St. James Park, after sources close to the player revealed that he would be ready to reject a move to Hull City to play for Newcastle United.

The 21-year-old striker was sent out on loan for the last two seasons at Hull City, and Tottenham Hotspurs, but he failed to cement a place any of the starting line-ups.

Hull City boss Phil Brown however bid for the player earlier this month, and his £5 million offer is said to have been accepted by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Campbell, being an United player has had an enormous amount of over-exposure and has been described as overrated by many. The £5 million would likely be better spent elsewhere.
