'If It's Football, It's Vital'

EMO Latest: Villa denial

Quite why it's quite our concern any more I don't know but free agent and our biggest waste of money ever, Michael Owen, has had today's much-mooted move to Aston Villa put on hold.

Despite Emile Heskey's obvious desire to see his former Liverpool amd England mate back in tandem with him, a statement on the Villa website said:

'Martin O'Neill has this evening dismissed stories suggesting Villa have offered Michael Owen a two-year contract.'

lets hope it stays that way, the money grabbing jockey. did he actually play well for you when he was injury free.?

Bit of a contradiction - don't think he was ever fit for us. There was always some niggle, some problem, stopped him being 100%

There are a number of my fellow City fans actually advocating making a move to sign this crock! I won't deny that he was a fantastic player earlier in his career, but can't see him ever regaining enough fitness to make any impact on top flight football. Think it would be kindest if someone took him down to the knackers yard.

At the back end of last season he was the worst player on the pitch. I think he thought if Newcastle go down I can walk away cause I am the highest earner and they can't afford me in the championship. This guy is only interested in money and horses. Don't care about who he plays for, just how much they pay

Since his cruciate injury he's lost the pace and confidence to operate at the highest level.
