Newcastle Transfer Tattle: Three in for Smith
As hoped, it looks like we could be drumming up a bit of an auction for Alan Smith. With early fears that we might have the carthorse clogging up the wage bill in the Championship, the NOTW has revealed three clubs are now in for him.
Stoke, the mackems and the already mentioned Blackburn are in for the Sam Allardyce signing who, despite admitting he wants to help us get out of the Fizzy Pop league, would surely be unable to resist staying in the top flight.
