Boumsong - France Or Scotland?

According to reports on Sunday, Rangers want to take Jean-Alain Boumsong back to Glasgow, despite it looking most likely he will be looking for sanctuary in France.

Paul Le Guen - who takes over as Ibrox boss at the end of the season - is a long-time friend and a big admirer of Boumsong. Rangers would offer less than £3 million, which is a joke considering they took £8.5 million off United just 15 months ago.

So it is thought Freddy Shepherd won't talk about the Frenchman's future until AFTER the World Cup, hoping and praying the defender has a marvelous competition, as predicted by Graeme Souness.
