Enrique linked with Madrid move
Having left a very open-ended statement over his future prospects at NUFC, admitting he didn't mind staying or going, it seems the latter could be on the cards for the Spaniard Jose Enrique. A return to his homeland is being mooted today, with Athletico Madrid high on the agenda.
The speculation over a £4.2m move seems to mean we'll take a tidy £2m loss on the player. Thankfully Athletico are fairly handy payers, so his wages we've overblown shouldn't be too much of a problem.
