Shearer talks continue
Without wanting to sound like the voice over from Big Brother - 'Day Four in Benton. Alan and Derek the Labia are in the dining room...' - we're now into the fourth day of talks between the club's directors and Alan Shearer as we battle to get some semblence of normality back into the structure of the club.
With corporate reconstruction aid being negotiated with Barclays, it seems that the current set up are pegging their colours to the Shearer mast, believing a club with a season ticket generating boss is more of an asset than one with none or Joke Kinnear.
