Athletico 4th = NUFC targets in?

Last night saw Athletico Madrid clinch 4th place in La Liga, with a 3-0 win over Almeria. Great, but what's the interest for Newcastle fans? Transfers - that's what.

Athletico now have the possibility of the Champions League riches to look forward to, along with the possible sale of Sergio 'Kun' Aguero, to provide them with a monster summer kitty. In last week's Guillem Balague column, the Spanish league insider tipped the red and whites to move for both Martins and Gutierrez as part of their summer rebuilding programme *should* they reach the CL.

They have managed that now and it raises the opportunity for a mini-auction over Martins and money back for the Argentine.

I can't believe people are voting Shearer as the "Villain"!! Crazy! He will save you and bring you back up and probably win the Championship!!!

Are we voting him or are the other 'jokers' from other Vital Networks chipping in? I wonder...;-)
