We've already had Peterborough and Scunthorpe licking their lips at the prospect of meeting NUFC next season, now it's The Penguin lookalike Neil Warnock banging on the Newcastle drum.
Warnock looks to be aiming to catch us cold next season as we look to rebuild. Speaking to the Palace Official Website, he said:
'They won't find it easy by any stretch of the imagination. Newcastle coming down only shocks me in the sense that no way should a club like that get relegated with the fanbase they have got - they have just made so many errors of judgement at every turn.
It's not funny from inside the club but from the outside it is almost comical. I don't think we fear anybody or that reputations will worry us because we're not that type of team. I don't believe Newcastle will relish playing us.
Ideally we want them at Selhurst on the first day of the season - I'm sure that would be the televised match.'
