Relegation Clear Out: Super Seb in demand

With the Champions League out of the way and just the cup final to come, the PL clubs are busy drawing up their transfer plans. High on a few of those lists seems to be defender Seb Bassong who seems to be attracting interest from four other clubs. Arsenal are mooted to be one of them but it could be that the club plays hard ball on the lad.

Today`s Ronnie speculates a simply astonishing £15m price tag on the head of a player with just one year on his contract left. Bassong had intimated that he would be set to leave if we got relegated, unsurprisingly given he is French and they start to fidget when they`ve been at NUFC longer than a month! Either way, the interest of a number of clubs will hopefully draw an auction, particularly if one of them is Man City or Chelsea.

15 mill! 4-5 tops i would have thought.

I'd price him at 15 million no problem, he is a star, one of the best defenders around.

£8m might be a more realistic fee for Bassong
Blacksheep
yep, they said Given wasnt going on a cheap and he went for 5m (cheap)
geordie_mark
Definitely take anything over £6m for him. Two sendings off last season as last man shows he's still got a fair way to go.
