New Blood: Nile notches for England
After ending the season as part of the first team squad and with a new contract under his belt, Nile Ranger marked his England Under 19s debut with a late goal as they beat Bosnia 2-0 in Donny. The notch at the Keepmoat was a good omen, with many of us hoping Nile can do the same in the Championship when the season starts! Speaking about his goal, the striker said:
'Playing for England can only help me at Newcastle United. I want to come back a stronger player, and ready to help my club. It's been an amazing season for me personally - I scored 22 goals for Newcastle - and to finish it with England is unbelievable.'
