Sevilla swoop for Toon misfit Coloccini

Newcastle United are ready to offload expensive Argentinian flop Fabricio Coloccini after the club's unfortunate exit from the Premier League on Sunday.

Coloccini, 26, signed for the Magpies from Deportivo La Coruna for a club record £10 million for a defender in July 2008.

He has failed to settle in the team, and has made costly errors throughout the season, and is not preferred by Alan Shearer therefore.

Spanish outfit Sevilla FC are preparing to take the expensive flop off Shearer's hands with a £4 million offer, but Newcastle United will hold out for £6 million.

Hey Big Al and to all the newcastle united fans out there, our strikers for next year can be jermaine beckford from leeds utd and marc janko from austrian league. both for 5 million. we still have nile ranger and andy carroll and viduka( if we want sign him for another yr)...kevin doyle?how about him? midfielders, we can keep danny guthrie, alan smith.duff(versatile) butt can be used sparingly. buy fabian delph, stephen hunt etc defenders, we can buy kyle naugton, daniel fox..and keep habib beye taylor and edgar..bassong(but he does not want, i think). keeper, we can buy arthur boruc?..but keep harper, tim krul, fraser foster. we must sell..colo..geremi,cacapa,barton, nacho[MUST] ,xisco(if can keep),owen, martins, jonas, enrique(former 4 very exp)...

what are other Geordies fans' thoughts on this?hope someone from backroom staff can get some inspirations from our own opinions.

pressing matter!..seal up marc janko, jermaine beckford, kevin doyle, stephen hunt and fabian delph as soon as possible!

Delph would be a great shout, the likes of Simon Cox, Beckford and Ricky Lambert would all be options. Possibly a couple of Millwall's youngsters as well.

why would sevilla want coloccini? have they not seen him play?

Martins should go for £10m. Add in Coloccini and Gutirrez for another £10m, and Enrique and Xisco for £8m, and the club is almost at the desired £30m off the books. In terms of who the team could buy I would say the following: Kyle Naughton £4m who can play RB and RM, Mark Beevers CB and Tommy Spurr LB from Wednesday for a combined £6m, Miles Addison from Derby as a DM/CB for £4m, Adam Johnson for Boro with Josh Walker for a combined £8m, and maybe swap Kevin Nolan for Matt Derbyshire at Blackburn. So far that's £22m spent so the club have made £6m+ in sales. Newcastle will also be attractive to the Top4 as a destination for them to loan players so could get players on loan like Kristian Nemeth FW (Liverpool), Henri Lansbury MF (Arsenal), Darron Gibson MF (ManU) and Michael Macciene DF (Chelsea) as possible examples. They will want to have their youngsters gain experience of playing in front of big crowds both home and probably also away.

Addison looked great v Man Utd in the Carling Cup this season. We need some power and legs in midfield after the drivel of Butt, Nolan and Guthrie. Would definitely look at the season long loan market too.

Marc Janko should be the top of our transfer list! followed by fabian delph stephen hunt jermaine beckford kevin doyle chris eagle 1/2 defenders like naughton..daniel fox.
