Ex-Magpie Rob Lee set to return as Toon coach

Newcastle United gaffer Alan Shearer has been given the discretion to bring in former teammate Rob Lee back to the Tyne to aid him in coaching a new-look Toon team who will take the field as early as July 1, 2009.

Rob Lee, a technically sound player renowned for his midfield genius will be appointed in a coaching role to drill technical soundness into the Toon youth.

As part of Lee's appointment, Colin Calderwood is set to exit stage right.
