Bye-bye Beye?

Despite missing a huge part of the season injured following Lee Twattermole's reckless challenge at the JJB on Boxing Day, it doesn't look like Habib Beye will be back for the Championship battle next season. Having apologised to the fans, Beye then said:

"I`ve been down with Strasbourg, but I was young, and it wasn`t the same. I came to this club to play in the top eight, and for two seasons we have played in relegation battles. It`s for some reason.

We just need to sit and think about the future. It`s hard to say who will be here, who will be in charge and what will happen, but it`s not the time for that."

Unsurprising to be honest. I doubt any of the non-British players will stay.

Gutierrez has said he will decide his future in July. Would be surprised beyond belief if he decided to stick around.
