Owen out as his Tyneside spell is summed up

The final team news is in ahead of the Fulham game and it looks like the SJP faithful have seen the last of Michael Owen. Having seen the former England man miss more games than he's played on Tyneside, his latest injury rules him out of what looked like his farewell appearance.

It's a blow for Alan Shearer who was relying on him to keep Ameobi away from the bench! The teams are:

Newcastle: Harper, Beye, Steven Taylor, Bassong, Duff, Guthrie, Butt, Nolan, Gutierrez, Martins, Viduka.

Subs: Krul, Coloccini, Ryan Taylor, Smith, Ameobi, Lovenkrands, Carroll.

Fulham: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Dempsey, Etuhu, Murphy, Gera, Nevland, Kamara.

Subs: Zuberbuhler, Johnson, Zamora, Dacourt, Gray, Kallio, Baird.

HOWAY THE LADS!

such a shame, great player but totally blighted with injuries.
The Fear
Plus the fact he couldn't care less about anything other than racing.
