Sunday`s NOTW is speculating in amongst the rumour mill that Joey Barton could be prepared to show an element of barefaced cheek by turning up for training ahead of the Villa game. With a match that could be crucial for our survival, the thought of the Scouse bad apple coming in to make more trouble, even though he is suspended for the game itself, would be symptomatic of the sh*t-stirring little rat. The ubiquitous club insider said:
'Joey will return to training and see what happens in the summer. If there is a change in manager, he may get another chance.'
