Transfer Tattle: Owen going North?

Following links back to the North West with Citeh, Wigan and most recently Everton, the latest bolt from the blue is that Owen is being linked with a £50k a week move to Celtic in the summer. Halving his wages would be the first blow for the former England man but, bloody hell, a move to football`s equivalent of the dead zone in the SPL would be a complete shocker and would definitely bring the end to any chance he could have of playing for the Three Lions again.

It might be ok for Craig Bellamy, who used the club as a nice stepping stone back to the Premier League, but an ex-European Footballer of the Year seems as likely as Susan Boyle modelling for Playboy.

We don't want this washed up injury prone has been, his level is the Championship where Newcastle will be playing next year

Or as unlikely of the primadona of the EPL being relegated. It all sounds silly till it happens,

All said and done I think Celtic would flatter Owen more than the reverse. Dont get me wrong they badley need an out and out striker to link up with Mc Donald. I just dont think Owen would be value for money at half the figure in yur story.

Mivchael Owen will be playing for Celtic in the Premiership next year, whilst in 3 years time Newcastle will be playing derbies against Gateshead in footballs equivalent of the dead zone, the Nationwide leagues. Good result for Whitley Bay, at least there's one team from Tyne & Wear that knows how to win a trophy.
The Green Griffin
How many games has Alan Shearer won since he became boss? None? You'll soon be off to footballs equivalent of tyhe dead zone, the Nationwide, under Mr Boring. 'Mon eh boro
