'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Barton trying a different form of 'training`

Having kept his head low for a while the media were positively itching to kick the club further in our current state, this time for midfielder Joey Barton getting on a train without a ticket. Quite laughably considered news worthy by the ever anti-NUFC Daily Mail they summarised saying he was eventually forced to pay double of £61.20. The horror - a public flogging of 100 lashes is the least he should expect.

Barton, who earns £64,000-a-week, admitted to an inspector he did not have a £30.60 ticket and was ordered to pay a £61.20 penalty fare. Drumming up quips from a fellow passenger:

'Given his reputation it was all about par for the course. The only thing that surprised me was that he was reading a book.'

Classic. Hopefully it was Sun Tzu`s The Art of War, as preparation for our relegation battle.

I'm sure he was at Wembley on sunday, he was surrounded by a group of blues signing autographs for the kids etc.
