'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Duke of Pork emerges from hibernation

Having avoided the cold and miserable British autumn and winter, Mark Viduka a.k.a. (The Duke of Pork) has suddenly decided to wobble out of the treatment room and sign off his Newcastle career with an attempt to keep us in the Premier League. Speaking ahead of the Spurs game, Big Al said the following of the injury stricken wastrel:

'Mark Viduka has trained for the majority of the week and will travel with us. He has trained well. He's obviously got a huge amount of talent and we believe if we can keep him fit, then he will play a big part in helping us.'

The man has just started one game all season. So no. We're not too thrilled with him at the moment.
