With Groingate all gone and forgotten according to the boss, Oba Martins has been told to play through the pain barrier with gritted teeth as we close out the last six games of this totally miserable season. With a reasonable record against Spurs, could the Nigerian be the difference against the North Londoners? Shearer said of the former Inter man:
"We have a few different scenarios with Oba. One, an operation; two, an injection; three, rest; and four, play through the play barrier. We know what we want him to do, it is just a case of how much pain that will cause him."
