From the papers to Sky Sports Sunday Supplement, Michael Owen`s England career has become the most tedious subject of the week. The latest comments from Stuart Pearce suggest that there is a way back into the national team for Owen ("He hadn't played enough football. The one thing Fabio doesn't do is shut the door for anyone. It's been mentioned maybe that certain individuals may be out of time and that the door has been shut, but that's not the case.").
Quite frankly though he won`t be on the Newcastle payroll when he next plays for Ingurland though which is why most of us don`t give a sh*t in the slightest. Owen`s whole time with Newcastle has been dominated by the 'Three Lions`, from his rushed injury returns and subsequent missed games for us to the notorious crocking against Sweden in World Cup 2006. The sooner we get back to focussing on club, not country, the better.
