Hughton talks Taylors

Having dropped one and seen the other score, our two Taylors were a prominent feature of the Hull draw last weekend. With the Arsenal game fast approaching, 'Coach` Chris was moved to comment on our two England Under 21 players, saying:

'Ryan will be very much in consideration again. He is part of a squad that is fighting for places. Unfortunately for him, he lost out at Hull, but Ryan is very much in our thoughts.

I only have to look at his contribution since he came here to see how delighted we should be. His response has been very good. After the result at the weekend I couldn't fault anybody in training this week. It has been very good and very bright. It has been the right response.

You want to get as many goals as you can from as many positions as you can, whether that be contributions from midfield or from defenders at set plays. Steven Taylor's was one were he ended up making a run and staying up the park. To our delight, he has scored a great goal and what could turn out to be a valuable one for us.'

Ok Chris, can you explain why you picked Geremi, Smith over R Tayor, Lovenkrands for the Hull City game? The move looked like you were deliberately try to get, at most, a point out of the game !! When will you see that Geremi is no good? will it take you starting him in the Arsenal game and us getting beat 4-0 to realise????? Anyone would think we're trying to get relegated with that sort of 1st team !!
