Alan Hansen Says Michael Owen Is Key

Alan Hansen Says Michael Owen Is Key

Alan Hansen, a pundit for the New Football Pools says Michael Owen is the key to Newcastle United's survival.

'Newcastle are a massive club but they certainly aren`t too good to go down. It`s been a real rollercoaster season for them with managerial change, disputes with the owner and injuries but one thing that could see them safe is the return of Michael Owen.

Michael is a natural born goalscorer and when you find yourselves at the wrong end of the table you need someone who can take their chances. In Michael, Newcastle have a player who knows exactly how to put the ball in the back of the net. He too has suffered from his fair share of injuries but if you had to count on someone to fire you out of trouble, there`s no doubt it would be Michael Owen.'

With thanks to the New Football Pools, the best place for football games and big jackpots!
