"I can understand why the fans have taken to him. In Jonas, they see a wholehearted player who will run back almost as quickly as he runs forward, and we`ll need more of that tomorrow. They see him as a team player, and I think that's normal in players who have a strong affiliation with supporters.
It's a nice position to be in. What you need in a squad is real competition for places. We'd probably like more. We've still got a few players out injured, but there is competition for places."
