Arsenal midfielder makes Newcastle United list
Newcastle United are already preparing a list of summer targets, among whom, it has emerged, lies Arsenal central midfielder Denilson.
Joe Kinnear recommended the youngster to the Magpies' higher-ups in December, but with the Gunners adamant about selling the player in January, Newcastle United were forced to subdue their interest until the summer.
It has emerged that with Nicky Butt nearing retirement age, a defensive midfielder is a priority for the Toon. The coveted list also contains Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone, and Manchester City player Michael Johnson, although, the latter is an attacking recruitment.
