'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Magpies target Spurs' midfielder Tom

Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone has expressed his frustration at lack of playing opportunities at Spurs, and believes that manager Harry Redknapp does not rate him.

'It has been very frustrating recently.

"If I get an opportunity, all I can do is remind the manager what I can do. I have not really spoken to the manager that much.'

When asked about potential suitors Newcastle United, and Fulham, Huddlestone did not deny that he had heard of the duo's interest.

'The only rumours I know are what I hear and what I read about, so it has been frustrating,' he said.

He went on to that he would continue to work hard for the team, but if not given the opportunity his frustration could grow out of bounds.

'Not playing is very difficult. I just have to force my way back into the team.

'It is a case of continuing to work hard and trying not to let the situation affect me daily.'

The 22-year-old, 6'3in central midfielder is one of several midfielders Newcastle United are looking into, with Manchester City's Michael Johnson also in the frame.

No way should he be allowed to leave except for about 25,000,000 , someone at the lane must take this young man to hand and climb all over him to bring out the real Huddlestone , day by day he must be tudored slim him down first speed him up and assure him he is Tottenham and we are going to give him another chance so the team can be built around him .

We don`t want another cock up like the advice Tottenham were giving about Terry Dixon not going to make it due to serious knee injuries , surly our legal eagles can get a result in this wrongful advice , the lad was a cracker and now West ham have given him a 3 year contract to the lad who was on the verge of becoming a first team member , something must be able to be done we were advised wrongfully surly Spurs must be able to claim wrongful advice or something , he could well come back to hunt us .

I cant see THUD getting in the side next season. It is more than likely we will buy a genuine left sided midfielder meaning Modric and Palacios will be the preferred CM with Lennon on the right leaving Jenas, Bentley, Zokora and Thud fitting for a place (that is if the rest are around). I would hate to see him leave but I wouldnt blame him
