'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Swedish wonderkid Adjei progressing well

17-year-old Samuel Adjei signed from Swedish Second Division club Jonkopings Sodra IF last month, and has enjoyed a fairly good start to his Tyneside career, making an impressive appearance against Team Northumbria, where Newcastle United Reserves triumphed 5-0.

Adjei has been tipped to be one of the most highly-rated youngsters of Europe, and Newcastle United hope to unleash him onto the Premier League in the next two seasons.

The Swede was also involved in the U18 team for last night's 3-0 defeat to Leeds, but it is a match Newcastle United will hope to forget.
