Newcastle United caretaker boss Glenn Roeder has already warned every one of his players he will not accept them taking the last quarter of the season lightly.
Midfielder Kieron Dyer has experienced yet another horror season with injuries, and knows the score and has warned his team-mates they too are all playing for their futures.
Dyer: 'People are saying we've nothing to play for, but we've games left.
'The club has candidates for the manager's job and they may have been in contact with those people.
'Those people will have an eye on Newcastle and will be seeing how the current group of players are doing and which players are doing well.
'Everybody is playing for their futures.'
