'If It's Football, It's Vital'

More Lovenkrands loving

Once again the Peter Lovenkrands / NUFC love-in continued with our Danish ace once again going on record to say just how happy he is with life at the club. Speaking out to the press, the former Rangers ace said:

"It makes you miserable when you are not playing. It was difficult. I now have that feeling of football is fun back in my body. People might laugh when I say I have rediscovered the fun side of the game here, given the ups and downs Newcastle have had, but it is true.

We have a good set of lads. I am just so happy to be here, play football, get time on the pitch. My family is settled and I am enjoying it. I didn't really have that in the last few months in Germany. I wanted to get away and they knew that early this season so they didn't want to use me. I had a good first year in Germany and really enjoyed it. In the second year I had injuries and it was difficult times. My family didn't settle.'

I noticed he was at the Rangers game last week with a Gers scarf on ! He was quick and a quality player BUT I don't know how quick he is now and if he can make a difference in the EPL ! Good luck anyway !

I think he'll be good but only as an impact player. Never made any secret of his love for the Gers, probably even more with a Wegian as a wife.
