With a suspension looming should he pick up another yellow against Everton this Sunday, Steven Taylor has brushed aside thoughts of bottling out of the tough Toffee`s challenges this weekend. Speaking to the Ronnie, the England Under 21 captain said:
When the game kicks off, you don't think about bookings. If I get booked, I get booked - I'm not going to change my game. The good thing about it was that we were 2-0 down and got back into the game, which gave us a lift. I was just happy to play my part.
There's no reason why we can't beat them, or most teams that come to Newcastle. There's no point playing negatively against them. They've got a massive togetherness, and that's what we need. We need to stick together, like we did in the last 15 minutes at West Brom, when we showed a lot of character.
I think the last 15 minutes there were the longest of my career. It meant so much to the lads. We were working so hard. We can a take a lot of confidence from it, but we're in a relegation fight, and we know that.'
