Man Utd-reject Richardson a Toon target

According to The News of the World Newcastle United are ready to offer Sunderland midfielder Kieran Richardson a staggering 60,000-per-week salary in order to tempt the 24-year-old to quit the Stadium of Light.

The Magpies failed in a transfer deadline day deal for the ex-Manchester United player, but are understood to be readying a fresh 6 million offer for the summer.

The St. James' Park club are also considering a season-long loan move for Argentine midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme, and a 7 million swoop for Manchester City youngster Michael Johnson.

He's always injured. One good goal against us and suddenly everyone is kissing his ass.

Anybody who scores against us for the Mackems is a legend in there eyes because it very rarely happens!

Another over paid, over rated, talentless individual heading for Newcastle, as far as always injured isn't that a prerequisite for your club.
