New Signing: Taylor speaks

With his swap for Charles N`Zogbia confirmed, Ryan Taylor has spoken of his delight at sealing his move to SJP and looking forward to helping pull the club out of the mire this season. Taylor said:

"It's been a bit nuts actually. (I've) been to the game yesterday and had the medical Saturday but it all never went through to about four o'clock (on Monday) which was obviously a big relief for me. I just wanted it done as quickly as possible, lucky for me it has.

I think the club is a huge, huge club - one of the biggest in the league, you only have to look at the fan base to see that. I went to the game yesterday, it was fantastic you know, the support they had. Everyone at the game was asking me 'Have I signed' and I was telling them 'Yes, but it hasn't gone through yet.' At the minute they are in a false position - if I can obviously help the lads get out of it then that will be a big plus.'

Tranmere fan here, have seen Ryan Progress since he made his debut for us at 17, class act. Made up for the lad that he's gone far - just hope he can hack a big club, he's a top man to so nice and down to earth, very proud to see him playing for a club like Newcastle. You guys probably all know about him the amount of times he has scored agains you! All the best Ryan, from all at Vital Tranmere.

Does seem a good lad and just what we need to help our shoddy dead ball delivery.
