'If It's Football, It's Vital'

New Signing: Kinnear on Ryan Taylor

With Nolan coming in yesterday, Joe Kinnear has certainly been busy helping push through some squad strengthening signings. With Ryan Taylor`s move now seemingly in the bag, JFK said:

Ryan's very versatile, and that's the reasoning why I went for him. He's got a long throw, and I'm aware of that, and he's also excellent at set plays. He scores goals from dead ball situations. Ryan can play wide left, left back, right back and wide right.

If we have injuries in those areas, the boy's capable of doing exceptionally well. I still think we haven't seen the best of him. He played for England's Under-21s, and I think there's more to come from him.'
