'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bruce wants to do it Zoggy-style

Joe Kinnear is considering a 6 million bid from Wigan's Steve Bruce for out-of-favour midfielder Charles N'Zogbia. The 22-year-old has expressed his distaste at the Magpies' current state, and has continually asserted his desire to move away from the hapless Toon.

N'Zogbia went on record last week stating that he would relish a move to Arsenal, after which he quickly switched his attention to Aston Villa, when the Gunners shrugged off their interest. Now that Wigan have come knocking at the door, 'Le Sulk' as he has been affectionately named by the club's fans may consider releasing another one of his trademark statements to instigate a transfer.

Steve Bruce is keen to add to his squad after selling Wilson Palacios to Tottenham Hotspurs, and Emile Heskey to Villa, with Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia also likely to depart for Real Madrid in the next few days.
