Villa prepare £6 million N'Zogbia swoop

Aston Villa have taken a step closer in their pursuit of highly-rated French midfielder Charles N'Zogbia from Premiership strugglers Newcastle United by preparing to entice the selling club with an undisclosed fee, according to The Guardian.

Villa boss Martin O'Niell is a known admirer of the 22-year-old Frenchman, and the player himself expressed a desire to join the Villans if opportunity presented itself.

The fee is understood to be around £6 million, and is expected to be completed by next week.

Is he worth buying? He sounds a bit like a trouble maker with the comments he has been coning out with.
BKKVILLA
He's talented. Just has a big mouth.

£6m seems a lot of money for a squad player. Is he that good? Looks to have flair, but has he got the ingedients MON loves, workrate, honesty and team ethics? With his big mouth I would imagine Newcastle would be glad to see the back of him for £6m, but in MON we trust...if the story is true. Newcastle desperately need some stability, I would be disappointed if they went down, which sadly is a possibility.

He's an odious little *****. If we can get £6m we should snap your hands off, he's nowhere near the consistency of Bullard and, after a good first season or so, will throw the toys out the pram and demand a move to his 'dream Arsenal'.

"Disappointed if they went down?" I'd find it hilarious. Come on Micheal, jump ship before it sinks!! All aboard HMS Victory!!!!!!!! Up The Villa

He's a moaner just like Robinho. When times are bad, moaners just want to jump ship.
