'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Post Hull: Kinnear

It was a slightly bewildered looking Joe Kinnear that faced the press last night. Looking like he'd just been flashed by Vanessa Feltz he seemed at a loss to sum up exactly why we didn't win last night. His brief explanation was:

"We were the better team by miles, by miles - we missed at least five clear-cut chances. Michael being the finisher he is, you would have thought he would have put away at least one of the chances he had.

I don`t know why I was sent off, we just had words. He had plenty to say and I answered. He didn`t actually say anything to me. He was having a rant at Chris. He wasn`t saying too many pleasant things to him. I just said to him, 'Enough` and sent Chris to sit down. I don`t know if my reputation precedes me."

Two bids in for 4m a piece, one of them has to be Bullard. The loan of Jo from Manchester City seems to be quiet and City want Given and Owen.

See who City get in the next week. Could be some bargains going. Jesus, at the current rate we're sinking I'd be happy with Darius bloody Vassell!
