Lovenkrands signing: Kinnear still keeping the Zog

Despite initial expectations that the Peter Lovenkrands signing was setting us up nicely for the sulky French kid's departure, Joe Kinnear has revealed that Charles N'Zogbia will be staying and the move for the Dane doesn't affect this. JFK said:

'I think Charles is a talented player, and as long as we can harness him and get him to do the job in the right areas, he's got fantastic ability. I've made it clear this week that his future remains with Newcastle United. In the position we're in at the moment, with 11 key players injured, he's got a major role to play.

Irrespective of what bids come in, I'm not in a position to let anybody go. Had the other 11 players been available, I'd have probably said I'd listen to offers and work round that, but at the moment we're absolutely crucified with injuries.

Therefore, as long as the window is open, I won't be selling anybody, unless I consider them to be fringe players.'
